We strive to use only the best materials, so the jewellery you are buying, wearing and gifting can be loved and adored for years to come.
Our jewellery is responsibly sourced and ethically handcrafted using sterling silver base metal with 3-micron 18k gold vermeil + nano- ceramic coating on our gold pieces, and rhodium plating on our silver pieces. It is created for daily wear and is hypoallergenic, nickel free, lead free and anti-tarnish.
The sentimentality of jewellery has always been important to us. When we are designing, we are intentionally creating pieces that our customers can find connection with. Pieces that become a wearable reminder of a loved one, special occasion or a memorable moment in time.

It was 2013 and Claire was an apprentice Jeweller, a few years into her apprenticeship, Gee was working in real estate. Long story short, they ended up moving in together, and one day a bracelet arrived that Gee had bought online. Claire was horrified that she spent so much on a piece of brass that ended up tarnishing, turning black and green in a week. The idea that they could create a better-quality product and launch a brand together was formed.
EL&RO its an extension of who we are, the name comes from a combination of our middle names, Elizabeth and Rose. Our intention is to have a brand you can connect with and relate to on a level beyond jewellery. So, What do our names mean to us?
Georgia - “Rose comes from my grandma. I grew up being told that she was a woman who loved deeply, and who exuded strength, compassion and beauty. Sadly she passed away from breast cancer before I was born but she is someone who will always inspire me."
Claire - "Elizabeth comes from my beautiful grandmother. I have always looked up to her and admired her strength. She is so incredibly nurturing and caring yet still has a cheeky sense of humour and a very quick wit. How lucky I am to know a love like hers."
Our mission at EL&RO is to inspire women to be their best, to have confidence and to feel empowered. Beyond the brand, we're just two women who live intently, who are passionate about spreading love and kindness, and who really believe laughter is the best medicine.
